Terms of Use
backendopsmed.com is operated by Backend Ops LLC ("Backend Ops Med", "we", "us"). By using this site or joining the community, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Give accurate information when you join.
Structure only. Not advice. No patient information.
- What we make is organizational structure. Systems, templates, prompts and tracking that help you organize your own work.
- It is not medical advice, study advice or educational advice. We do not tell you what to study, how much or when. We do not provide tutoring, coaching, a study plan or a curriculum written for you.
- It is not a substitute for your school, your faculty, official exam materials or a licensed professional. Every decision about your studies and, where it applies, your patients is yours.
- No outcome is promised. We do not guarantee any grade, exam score, match result or other result.
- Do not enter patient information. No patient names, identifiers, records, images or other health information go into our forms, our files or any AI tool used with our systems. Nothing we make is designed to store or protect protected health information.
- Independence. Backend Ops Med is not affiliated with or endorsed by the USMLE program, the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), any dental board or any school. Exam names are used only to describe public categories and belong to their owners.
AI tools
Our systems are built to run with AI tools you choose and pay for yourself. Those tools are run by other companies under their own terms. AI output can be wrong or incomplete; review anything it produces before you rely on it.
The community email
Joining is free. We send use cases, community news and growth systems as they ship. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.
Products, when offered
When we sell a product (a prompt pack, a personalized build, a membership), its price, delivery, refund terms and license are shown at checkout and added to this page before it goes on sale. In short: what you buy is a personal, non-transferable license for your own work. You may use, edit and adapt your copy for yourself. You may not share, upload, resell or give away the files or prompts, including to classmates or study groups, or use them to build a competing product.
Our content
The site, the emails, the systems, the Backend Ops Med name and its marks belong to us or our licensors. Third-party sources we link to belong to their owners.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no hacking, scraping, spam, fraud, unlawful content or attempts to get around any limit we set.
Disclaimers and limits
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything, for the item involved in the last 12 months.
Indemnity
You agree to cover our losses from claims caused by your misuse of the site or our systems, or your breach of these terms, including entering patient information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Backend Ops LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version.
