Privacy Policy
Backend Ops Med is a lane of Backend Ops LLC ("we", "us"). This page says what we collect on backendopsmed.com, why, and what you can do about it. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the community. That is the only thing the join form asks for.
- Basic technical information that any web server receives, such as your browser type and the pages you open. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Please do not enter patient information, or any health information about yourself or anyone else, anywhere on this site. Nothing we offer needs it, and our forms are not built to hold it.
How we use it
- To send you the community emails you asked for: use cases, community news and growth systems as they ship.
- To answer you if you write to us.
- To keep the site working and secure.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with anyone for their marketing.
Who handles it for us
A small number of providers run this site for us and handle your information only to do that job: our web host and form service (Netlify) and our business email (Google Workspace). If we add a provider, for example an email tool for the community list or a checkout for a product, this page will be updated first.
When we sell something
If you buy a product from us in the future, we will collect what the order needs: your name, email, what you bought, and for a personalized build, the intake answers that shape it (such as your program, year and courses). Payment is handled by the checkout provider; your card number never reaches us. The details will be on this page before the first product is on sale.
AI tools
Our systems are built to run with AI tools you choose and pay for yourself. What you type into those tools is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies. The join form and the site itself may use the minimum a browser needs to work.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe, then it is removed. We may keep a record that you unsubscribed so you are not added again.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe with the link in any email, or by writing to us.
- Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of your information at hello@backendopsmed.com. We answer within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights. Write to us and we will honor them.
Age
This site is for adults, such as medical and dental students. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit who can reach your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. For a big change we tell the list by email.
